I was hired as the prop and set stylist for the photographer duo Our Wild Abandon, who was commissioned by Google to create a series of images showcasing the capabilities of the Google Pixel smartphone. These images were featured prominently in a range of digital banner ads, as well as on the "Made by Google" landing page and in print advertisements across various publications.
The shoot took place on a picturesque farm, where we set the scene for a relaxed, summer-day picnic among friends. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding rural setting, we selected natural materials such as wooden tableware, soft linen, and wool fabrics to enhance the rustic charm. Edison bulbs were strung playfully between tree branches, adding a whimsical touch, while wild florals and fresh herbs were incorporated into the decor for a casual, effortless vibe.
To complement the scene, we carefully curated a selection of food with striking contrasts in colour and shape, ensuring that each element contributed to the overall aesthetic without overwhelming it. The colour palette was intentionally neutral, with pops of primary colours used sparingly as accents, creating a harmonious balance that supported the natural beauty of the setting.
